We are longtime residents of Kendall.
We are longtime residents of Kendall. We always wanted to visit this hotel for our out-of-town family to stay for family events. It's very close to our house and there are many nice restaurants and various opportunities to go shopping. There is an adjoining bridge across the lake leading to the shopping, restaurants and other forms of entertainment.

I tried to book a room on my phone at the hospital and my phone froze up. I went to hotel and booked a room and paid cash. I realized after getting to my room and checking my accounts that a room was booked on my room. Went straight to customer service. They told me there was nothing I could do that I would have to pay for 2 rooms. No refunds even though the one I booked on phone was accidentally done. They didnt care.

The staff was courteous and friendly , the beds were so comfortable that I slept late and missed breakfast , but when I did make it , the breakfast was superb . Parking was free ! I just wish that the hotel accepted cash for payment , would have made everything perfect .

Cockroaches. Mildew smell. Over priced. Poor customer service. Broken remote control. Broken door latch. No help from front desk. They could not even be bothered to tell me our pizza was delivered. We won’t be back. I’d rather sleep in my car.

Wifi works very well. TV guide is understandable. Lobby store is well stocked and convenient. Gym and pool are clean. Friendly staff. Grew up in Miami and familiar with area. Candlewood is always my choice when visiting family and friends.

Title: Very Disappointing Stay – I Checked Out Immediately
I recently booked a room at this Quality Inn in Miami and was extremely disappointed. The first room they gave me was dirty from top to bottom. The bathtub was dirty, the floors were so filthy I didn’t feel comfortable walking on them, and even the drapes on the windows were stained and dirty. The room also had a strong foul smell, and the TV was very small, maybe around 13 inches. The whole room felt cramped and outdated, maybe around 200 sq ft at most.
I went back to the front desk to ask for another room. At first, I was told there were no rooms available on the first floor, but then they tried to move me to another room on the same floor. That second room also smelled bad and did not feel clean. The front desk lady who was helping at first was very rude and dismissive, which made the situation even worse.
The only positive part of my experience was a staff member named Denisha. She was very kind, professional, and went above and beyond to help me get my money back when I decided not to stay. She was the only person who tried to make things right.
They eventually showed me another room on a lower/underground level that was cleaner than the first two, but the décor, furniture, and overall setup were very old and worn out. On top of that, the area around the hotel did not feel safe and was very uncomfortable to be in.
Because of the unclean rooms, bad odor, rude front desk experience, and the overall environment, I chose not to stay at this property. I would not recommend this hotel, and I will not be returning.

The hotel was almost perfect. We actually didn't expect it to be that good. Nice and clean rooms, breakfast, which was a bit different everyday, staff which was very nice and always helpful. I recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to visit south Florida and wants to see both Miami and Everglades, because this hotel is just in the middle of the road for a very reasonable price.

Location was ok, not far away from MIA airport, the hotel staff were friendly and tried to accommodate our requests as soon as possible. The breakfast buffet was nice in terms of quantity, quality and the service provided by the staff during breakfast was excellent and the tables area was cleaned continuously.

Nice small-scale hotel with very friendly staff. Good location of the hotel between Miami, Everglades and Key West. Safe neighbourhood and in convenient combination with adjacent shopping centre a number of restaurants. Parking facilities very good.
