My review is focused on budget friendly hotel experience. Everything was nice. Allowed us early checkin. Location was perfect next to subway station. Decent breakfast. Freshly made eggs, potatoes and bacon compared to packaged food provided in other places. Room was well maintained. Had a good roof top view.

We really loved our stay in Feather Factory Hotel. The staff is really helpful and friendly. They welcome you when you arrive and if you have any questions they don’t hesitate to help. The location was perfect, the hotel is in Queens. Really close to the metro what is an amazing way to go to the city center of NY in 10/15 minutes you’re in the heart of New York. But also if you arrive from the airport by train or metro is just a small walk to the hotel. The rooms are clean and have big windows what makes the room really bright and you will have a good view over Queens and even New York City. The bed was also perfect and after a busy day in the city you could sleep here in all silence and rest. Before booking the hotel we saw some reviews about noise of the trains, but to be honest we didn’t had any difficulties with the noise of the trains. The bathrooms are clean and there are new towels every day. For a nice price you could book breakfast with your stay. This was a perfect breakfast they have everything you would like and more important they don’t waste food. They will make your breakfast personally for you. This really made us happy to see that there is no waste of food. If you were hungry or craving a snack they had a small shop were you could buy anything from drinks to pepto bismol :). Really Really nice! Queens was a really nice suburb. We also had one dinner in here, what gave us a nice impression of the queens instead of only New York City. We both felt really save in the neighbourhood from the hotel. If we ever go back to New York we will directly book here.

I love Queens.
I love Queens. The only problem is the cost of living there, especially when landlords insist on 40 to 60 times the annual rent as an income for their properties. This is a shame because the area has so much to offer in means of culture, history, entertainment, foods, social outlets, parks. On a casual day, you can stroll in one of the many parks, walk along the river front, take in a museum or shop in one of the many diverse shops. At night the area comes alive with lights, cozy cafes, one of a kind dining experiences and great music and nightclub opportunities.

Not recommended if you come with a car. The hotel claims to have a parking, but they only have very little parking. we arrive late and had no parking. Also nothing was available in the area. The hotel was nice. My only caveat is the parking.

Can't believe you didn't inform us. I called one of your agents & he could only offer us another hotel further away & twice as much cost??
