Portland (near Standish)Just one mile from Merrill Auditorium and a 3-minute walk from Portland Exposition Building, Guest Space on the Portland Peninsula features accommodations in Portland with a garden.Guest review-The number one thing is that the Host (Alan) was very responsive and had great recommendations for outdoor activities. -The location is great, probably a 30 minute walk tops from anything in downtown Portland. -Everything was clean, and he replaced our towels for us after a few days. -The week we were in Portland, it was pretty warm, but with the central a/c unit, the temperature in the apartment was perfect. -there's a good fridge. -there's a good work desk with dual monitors for the WFH people. -Internet seemed decent, although I didn't really have anything intensive to do other than check emails and look things up. -Decent TV that seemed to have most streaming services. I didn't really cycle through them all, but netflix and amazon worked (I don't have any streaming services myself, so it's nice when places have that set up already). -For the most part, pretty quiet. It is a basement apartment, so you will hear footsteps above you, but that stops after 10pm.
