The staff at Amapondo went above and beyond. They called me when I was on my way to the property to let me know their kitchen was about to close and see if I wanted to order dinner before it did because there weren't any restaurants open nearby. This was so kind!

One of the nicest places we ever stayed at - the property is super cute with lots of little handmade details, a great kitchen and common area and the views are breathtaking. A perfect spot to rest for a few days and just enjoy being in nature. Juliet is a lovely host and we can’t wait to visit again one day. highly recommend.

We stayed in the one-bedroom rondavel which has a beautiful deck with braai facilities overlooking the lagoon and second beach. The location is absolutely stunning and Mark, the host, was really welcoming and helpful, particularly given that we arrived at really short notice after suffering car troubles in Port St Johns. To be honest I am glad that the car did break down otherwise we would never have stayed at this lovely spot.
