So grateful to have found a place that was not only clean and neat, but also peaceful and comforting. The room was perfect — warm, inviting, and just what my mom needed after long, emotional days. She stayed here under difficult circumstances, as my dad had to be moved to the nearby hospital. What truly stood out was the kindness and compassion of the host. Chrizanne went out of her way to make sure my mom was comfortable and had everything she needed, even offering a warm dinner after a late night at the hospital. Such a thoughtful gesture. Julie's Cottage was quick to respond to questions and communications. The key collection was smooth (done by my partner by arrangement as I was unavailable). The property was clean, neat and had a cute garden in the front. The room itself had a small balcony with a metal table and chairs, which served well for drinking a cup of coffee in the morning. The room itself was clean, well laid out and had cupboard space available. The bed was firm and comfy with more than enough duvet for the bed size. Pillows were also very well stuffed. I was confounded for a bit by the tap in the shower where the indicator didn't match the water temperature but with a 50/50 shot, I did manage to get a lovely hot shower with a big shower head (the rain type) - just what I needed! Key handover when we left was quick and efficient. Meeting their little ginger cat as we left was a great bonus - what a sweetie! While we did not stay long, we would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Really enjoyed our stay, our room was really spacious with a nice living room, cute balcony, very comfortable beds. Amazing place to relax and explore the area. Riebeek is a small town, so everything in the town is with walking distance.

We only stayed for one night, but what a treat! When booking, you have no idea that you’ll be surrounded by nature. To the left, you can see horses playing, and right in front of you, a charming little stream flows beneath the trees. This spot is perfect for a quick stopover, yet it offers complete privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. Everything is brand new and top-quality—from the luxurious linen to the plush towels. The spacious bathroom and well-equipped kitchenette provide all the essentials (note: there’s a microwave but no stove for cooking). The owner was incredibly helpful and easy to reach, and the location is simple to find. The air conditioner is a welcome feature, especially if you're familiar with Wellington’s warm temperatures. Overall, it’s a small, private haven—thoughtfully designed with everything you need for an overnight stay. Highly recommended!

We loved everything about our stay. This is a little gem hidden in Riebeek West. The attention to detail was absolutely fantastic. Everything you need and more, and everything was excellent quality. Andre, the host was also very attentive and helpful. The experience of sleeping in an old barn made it so special and the decor was amazing. Special touches like good quality coffee, fresh milk, rusks, fresh fruit, freshly cut flowers from their own garden made the stay very special
