Excellent accommodation .
All items in perfect working order .
The most friendly staff, that we have experienced over many years of travel .
Especially Barren at front desk and Verna at the Spa gave service and friendliness that we shall never forget .
But each and every member of staff made you feel welcome and contributed to a VERY special experience .
Excellent meals and superb breakfasts in-house made it the ideal place to visit in winter ,sitting next to the warm fire place at dinner .
Succulent and crispy pork belly ,Chicken and Prawn curry as well as Grilled line fish are just some of the good memories from our meals .
Comfortable bathroom,with walk-in shower and bath .
Perfect temperature control of your room via your aircon heating and cooling .

The room was comfortable but i would have preferred not to be upstairs. The room was clean bed was a bit hard and small for my preference . And some of the cushions had mould on it but it is typicall of fabrics at the coast

While I may have visited in the quiet season, there was still so much to do in the little village!
I found incredible fish and chips at "Ietsie Als" and loved the many little shops in the area - I was so impressed that the local grocer was so well stocked!
The town is easy to drive or walk around and is really beautiful. Locals and tourists alike seem to respect the sanctity of the town and I found it to be peaceful and all that I had hoped for.

Paternoster is a most beautiful and healing space in nature - I highly recommend it. Locals are friendly and helpful. The whole village is geared up well for tourists - we felt safe and appreciated everywhere. This is the place for excellent seafood and quality food in general - fresh, affordable and delicious! Great restaurants and shops and the most amazing coastline.

We LOVE Paternoster.
We LOVE Paternoster. It’s a beautiful little coastal village (probably more of a town now) with white houses. The beach is lovely with soft sand and great for long walks.
There are many fantastic restaurants and cafes to choose from and local seafood is excellent.
Plentiful accommodation at reasonable prices.
Definitely worth a trip and also please visit the wine lounge. Fantastic selection of South African wines run by a lovely couple Arno and Pieter. You can sip and watch the waves and world go by or catch a sunset.

It is essentially a holiday village, spread along the beach.
It is essentially a holiday village, spread along the beach. There are quite a few restaurants, a supermarket, and a few small shops, but that's it. The beach is excellent for walking, but a bit too cold for swimming. There are
some game reserves and a national Park within an hour's drive and they are worth visiting. Really, it is a place for relaxing

My absolute favorite destination to break away from home.
My absolute favorite destination to break away from home. Less than 2 hours from Cape Town, beautiful beach, tons of Art, stunning theater with amazing performers. Gorgeous fisherman's village with lovely locals. I LOVE Paternoster ❣️
Awesome location 50m from the Beach without the beach front hyped up prices, the apartment had everything you would need for a stay of a week or a lot longer should you wish, walking distance to the centre and a host of restaurants. Fantastic self catering facilities, everything that you would need and good quality and fully functional. Will be returning again we also stayed in Number 1 which is located above 2A and that was equally as excellent.
We enjoyed the room setting as we could lookout over the see from our room and the small stoep in front of the room .
The staff are very friendly and helpful . Regularly checked if we are fine or do we need any assistance . Made an effort to chat to us and assisted with places to see and to eat at in Paternoster . We had a great stay at the paternoster Hotel and enjoyed it as it is with in walking distance of most shops and restaurants
Duintjie is situated in the most accessible part of town, close to the beach and close to all the attractions in Paternoster. The cottage is well stocked with everything you need to have a fantastic stay. Being a stone's throw away from the beach is a massive plus.
Dean was an excellent hostess. Always friendly and made us feel very at home. Views were incredible. Breakfast was great sitting almost on the beach. Quite neighborhood and private. Very close to the best Restaurant in Paternoster. "Leetos"
