Especially Barren at front desk and Verna at the Spa gave service and friendliness that we shall never forget . Excellent meals and superb breakfasts in-house made it the ideal place to visit in winter ,sitting next to the warm fire place at dinner . The building is old but has huge character. Rooms recently refurbished with new bathrooms and extremely comfortable beds. Food was excellent and the staff are super friendly and helpful.
