I am admittedly biased, since the original house was designed and built in 1960 by my frandfather Casper Krüger, great-grandson of the legendary Paul Krüger, which the present owners have subsequently converted into the 4-star Kassaboera lodge. Having grown up here, several of my cousins and I recently used the occasion of a family reunion to return to this grand old home to rekindly fond memories, wondering if the intervening 60 years had altered any of our recollections at all. What a pleasant surprise it was to discover that the present owners, Manie and Amanda, have done an excellent job here in the restoration of this special place! All the charm of the original house remains, with the high, thatched roof and spacious interior, but now with modern luxuries and conveniences added, such as the beautiful swimming pool and lovely gardens. From here it is still possible to undertake long, leisurely strolls along the lake. Now I am happy in the thought that this remains one of my favorite places on earth.

The service is exceptional. The food is amazing. The tour and the dancing were extraordinary. Every person on the property worked hard to make sure my fiancé and I were happy on our visit. The room was comfortable and well-equipped. People from all over the world came during our visit. It was wonderful!

This place is beautiful and so is the staff. A special thanks to Rose who is such a lovely person, helpful, and kind. It was close to shopping centres and sightseeing spots. It is very close to French Toast Koffie Kafee which has great breakfast options considering the limited options available for eating at Club Cocomo. The heated pool is fantastic, especially because it was abit cold and rainy, it did not stop us from enjoying the pool side. Overall, a great stay at Club Cocomo. I definitely recommend.

A gem of a place along the hillside of haarties to get away grom the busy city and relax!The grounds, view and staff were exceptional! The standard room was amazing with our own spa tub outside to sit and watch the sunsets. From the second you lie by one of the two pools or in the jacuzzi the friendly staff cater to your every need while you relax and take in the views... this place was everything we wanted and more! I would highly recommend staying here for flawless service, great food and the best place to watch the sunset!
