We had a wonderful time at the property! It was the perfect place for our family (six adults). The kitchen was well stocked so we were able to enjoy breakfasts around the kitchen table and dinners on the well-appointed patio. An amenity we did not expect - there was an assortment of wines, beers, and other refreshments available for purchase which was especially nice on the evening of our arrival. On our second evening there was an issue with not having hot water - apparently the boiler was having technical difficulties. We emailed the owners at 22:30, and by 9:30 the next morning the technician had already been there to fix the issue. The owner's responsiveness was impressive which we so appreciated! The location is amazingly situated - about 25 minutes from Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau (just over the border in Germany) and only about 10 minutes from Ehrenberg castle, fortress, and ruins. Our time at the chalet was magical - thank you to the owners and our host Gerda!

Beautiful chalet with fully modern and up-to-date appliances of all sorts. It was nice, clean and well-kept. It had plenty of space and some excellent bed-rooms (though overly large and small pillows for some reason). It was nicely located with a good view and a lot of interesting things to do nearby. It was easy to get to and there was plenty of space for our car. The owner was really kind and helpful. They put together a list of interesting things to see and do in the area, as our plans had to be changed due to heavy snow in September. They also allowed us to use some childrens clothing, as we hadn't packed for such cold conditions. Lastly, they allowed us to charge our electric car there, which was a nice gesture.

A very comfortable, spacious, modern vacation apartment where it is easy to relax after a day of hiking or skiing. It is well equipped with dishes, glassware, kitchen utensils, a good espresso machine, and electronics. The bread and roll service in the mornings is an added bonus. The vacation apartment is located just off the main street in Haller and it is quiet so that we slept soundly on the comfy beds. The main bathroom has a great steam bath for relieving sore muscles. My daughter also enjoyed using the bluetooth connection to play music from her phone while she took a shower at the end of the day. The main cable car systems are just a short drive away making it easy to go for a hike or to ski. The owners are friendly and helpful, and live in an adjacent building. There are nearby grocery stores and restaurants (try the Cafe - Bistro Haubentaucher on the Vilsalpsee). We spent a week enjoying our stay and exploring this very beautiful area of Austria. We could have easily spent another week just unwinding, hiking in the majestic mountains, and enjoying the vacation apartment. We very highly recommend Landhaus Schatz.
