Loved everything about this place. We had a beautiful and very well - appointed bungalow where a bowl of fresh local fruit and coconuts from the host's own trees awaited us upon our arrival. The lovely porch was surrounded by flowers. The room was comfortable and pretty and had everything we needed, including a full kitchen and a washing machine. Host was great---very nice, very helpful. The whole experience couldn't have been better.

Abera's Villas is an absolutely delightful place to stay. After a warm welcome at the airport Jael was an exemplary host; recommending and booking activities/experiences for us and providing a unique insight about island culture. The two very private beachfront villas share a pool and (after exploring the island) have the best location on Aitutaki; close to a variety of dining places. There is easy access to the clear waters of the lagoon, with fantastic swimming and snorkelling right off the beach. Kayaks, snorkelling gear, stand up paddle boards and wheels to get around the island are all provided at no extra cost. If you want a quiet and relaxing place to stay which has also been built to environmental standards you will not be disappointed. We booked the breakfast, which as described in previous posts, is extremely generous. Thank you also to Kathy and Moana for their wonderful housekeeping and warm hospitality.

The host was friendly and knowledgeable. The villa was clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils, etc. The air conditioning worked well. View of the lagoon and the surf breaking over the reef was spectacular. Mark, our host, lent us his car (competative price) and also took us out to One Foot Island in his skiff. A much better choice than a larger boat with many tourists. On the premises is a great little restaurant and food store. The staff were friendly and helpful. Service was excellent. The menu was versatile with vegan options. The mango smoothies were great to quench our thirst during the hot summer days on Aitutaki. Overall--a great place to stay if you like to avoid the resort crowd and actually meet the locals.

Vaea picked us up at the airport and took us to town for some shopping and orientation. Comfortable bungalow Had everything we needed. Easy walk to great swimming. Kii took us around the lagoon for snorkeling. Vaea went over the island map so we knew all the things to see.

Stayed 2 weeks in January. Across the street and 1/2 block from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. This place is a real find. Well constructed, modern and super clean. Covered porch with comfy chairs and a dining table. Perfectly appointed studio cabin with a well equipped full kitchen. A/C. Screened windows. Queen size bed. The back covered porch has a full size washer and clothes line. A real plus for Aitutaki is the strong free wifi. Your delightful host, Kura, will pick you up at the airport and take you to the grocery store if you need it. You can walk to the main small town but renting a scooter or car will let you explore this stunning island. Highly recommended.
