The host allowed us to drop off our luggage early and retrieve it after check out which allowed us to visit attractions without a carful of baggage. Host was easy to communicate with, and the property was very comfortable and clean. Worked out perfectly for our visit to the Manuel Antonio area.

Beachfront location was fabulous. Loved having outdoor showers, seeing monkeys and macaws on the property. I stayed there with prior owner and Sylvia's improvements are noticeable with great WiFi. Powerful running water and lovely decor. New furniture and friendly staff. You can see how much work and investment has gone into making this the best place to stay in Palo Seco! Hoping to go back soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Our cottage was simple but well-equipped with everything we needed, including air conditioning, and we slept very comfortably. We appreciated having a small kitchen, which made it easy to prepare simple meals for the kids. The owner, Markus, was incredibly friendly and helpful. One of our favorite parts was being able to enjoy dinner by the pool. The pool itself was beautiful, refreshing, and set in a perfect location. The hacienda is very well maintained, with several easy and fun trails where you can spot plenty of wildlife. Our kids especially loved the farm animals: three friendly dogs, two cats, five horses, and free-roaming chickens that wander around the property. We also booked a horseback riding experience, which was fantastic. Markus took us to a waterfall where we could swim — it was the biggest highlight for the kids! We highly recommend staying here and would definitely love to come back.
