A True Home Away from Home Our stay at this beautifully refurbished farmhouse exceeded all expectations. The farmhouse was immaculate and incredibly well-equipped, every detail had been thoughtfully considered. From the luxurious beds, crisp linens, and fluffy towels to the cozy open fire, shelves of books, and a great selection of board games for the kids, it truly felt like a home away from home. The outdoor space is equally stunning, nestled right beside a peaceful forest, perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. Geraldine, who looks after the property, was the epitome of Irish hospitality, warm, welcoming, and even arrived with freshly baked cream buns! Please note, the house is in a remote location, so a car is essential—but that’s exactly what we were looking for: peace, quiet, and authenticity. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough and are already looking forward to our return.

Great location and exactly as described. There were even rabbits and cows for my daughter to wave to! The TV had Netflix and Disney+ so plenty of stuff to watch at night. Super fast wifi.

    Mary and staff were so welcoming the atmosphere is amazing here so cozy and homely food was amazing as was the breakfast but the scenery from the cottage is just magnificent and so tranquil.Nire valley walks located 2 miles from the cottage ideal for anyone interested in hiking for beautiful scenery. We will definitely be back.

    We absolutely loved Hanoras cottage the location was just fabulous the staff were amazing so friendly and kind and the food was incredible!! We have booked here again for September it's a little bit of heaven up there ❤️

    Breakfast and Dinner were sublime. Service from staff was excellent. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind with excellent service and great food then look no further than Hanora’s cottage.
