Valentia Island (near Waterville)Providing complimentary private parking, Blue Cottage is 4.3 miles from Skellig Experience Centre. Outdoor seating is also available at the vacation home.Guest reviewThe house was easy to find and get into, with a very large parking area. The quiet neighborhood made sleeping easy. The drive to Portmagee was less than 15 minutes, so staying here made it easy to get to our boat tour. The kitchen was large and well-equipped, with a large dinner table. The bathroom is very large, and has a nice style to it. The shower had plenty of hot water for two. We appreciated the washer! There was heating, which we didn't find everywhere at this time of year. It's very close to the ferry, which made for fast (if expensive) access to a supermarket. This is definitely a good choice as a base for exploring the area.
