This property was halfway up the long stairs from the train station to the town centre of Corniglia and was very private and quiet despite being close to everything. The property was very spacious, comfortable and had everything you needed to prepare your own food. It very much had the feel of stepping into someone's home. If you are looking for a modern sterile apartment this may not be for you. Our host was fantastic and communicated with us on Whatsapp prior to our arrival and sent instructions and photos of how to get to the property. These were so clear and useful especially the photo of the front gate. Our host was super friendly and gave us a great tour of the property and the facilities. Corniglia was the best base to explore Cinque Terre in our opinion. It was smaller and less crowded than the other towns but had everything you needed and is right in the middle of Cinque Terre. We walked the trails to Monterosso and back one day and then to Riomaggiore the next. The weather was overcast with a few rain showers so the tracks were almost empty and the views were stunning.

Our hosts, David & Roberta, were both amazing. We had a problem with our car and Roberta helped us to get a mechanic very quickly quite late in the day. Our breakfasts were fabulous, with jams homemade by Roberta. They made us very welcome. They booked us into a truly lovely local restaurant for our evening meals. I cannot praise them highly enough. We loved it.

Maurizio and Mari Chrsitine are excellent hosts, and they helped with all of our wishes:-) We spend Easter in villa, and they made sure that we got tables despite the holidays in two excellent restaurants in the neighborhood. We needed salt for cooking - there it was:-) We needed to print a few pages - they helped:-) And the most amazing was the surprise excellent Italian coffee they served:-)
