I’m so glad I didn't listen to some of the older reviews I read before booking! My husband and I just spent two nights here with our two boys (14 and 10), and honestly, it was exactly the break we needed. I’ll admit, I was a bit nervous about the cleanliness and the state of the villa after reading some past comments, but the host must have worked really hard lately because the place was spotless. The kitchen was tidy (I actually loved the Tajines on the counter!), and the bathrooms were super clean with the cutest mosaic sinks. The vibe of the house is so authentic. The boys loved the big living room and spent the whole time lounging on the traditional sofas. Even though it's January and a bit chilly for a swim, the pool looked great and the garden is just... wow. It’s full of olive trees and huge cacti, and it felt so private and safe for the kids to just run around while we had our coffee by the fountain. It’s the perfect spot if you want to be away from the crazy noise of the city but still feel like you're in the heart of Morocco. Everything felt very "real" and cozy, not like a boring, cold hotel. Thank you so much to the host for being so welcoming! We had a wonderful time and the kids are already asking when we can go back in the summer when the pool is warmer. If you’re traveling as a family, don't hesitate—this place is a hidden gem!
