Maya was very helpful from the moment we booked our flights from Kathmandu to Pohkara. She told us beforehand about flight delays, etc. The accommodation was superb! Quiet, away from the road and set in a fantastic garden. Just the small details, like flowers in the bathroom, tea on arrival and more! And how can we forget the welcome by Yahoo - the resident Labrador dog. She is gorgeous, wanting plenty of attention (and food 😜) and being a great companion whilst at the property. The property is situated right in town and Maya has plenty of tips to keep you going for days!

What an amazing stay! Two brothers run this hotel and just WOW! I stayed here 3 different times (about 15 days total) and it was exceptional. Each time I felt super safe and was very quiet (i know they kicked out a few guests who were were loud, drunk and obnoxious over mystay) , room was very clean and spacious ( i had the garden view), hot water galore (i love me longgg hot showers), great location (a block away from the city center, so many restaurants and cafes nearby) and best of all the value ( Save $$!). The brothers really treat you well, kept my stuff when I came back for a last second trek and the juice shop up front is very good ( great wifi in the juice shop and in the room) and a great place to chill on your downtime instead of your room. A++ please stay here and support small locals.

best place that I've stayed in nepal so far. The views are incredible, the location is awesome for those looking an out of the crowd experience. The family hosting the hotel is wonderful, I felt as part of the family there. If you eat there (you should), you will be eating vegetables from the garden, and drinking milk from their cow. It's such a peaceful place to be, for a few days and for a few months

    Me and my friend Maria stayed at Nepali Cottage Guest House for many days during the last month and we loved it. The atmosphere is cozy and familiar, and the owner has been very helpful with us, like family! Also, breakfasts and lunch at Wendy's Juice Shop, connected to the guest house, are just amazing and the staff there is always friendly and welcoming. The guest house is our safe place in Pokhara, so we really suggest to spend some time there!

    Very quaint, cosy and tidy, cottage like premises. Peaceful with well kept gardens a low rise, in an excellent location. Maya and the staff are always very welcoming and go the extra mile to assist in any sight seeing needs. Breakfast every morning is fresh and varies. Services is always with a smile.
