Offering a garden and garden view, Prakriti Resort and Organic Farm Pvt. Ltd. Is situated in Burhānilkantha, 23 km from Pashupatinath and 24 km from Sleeping Vishnu. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 20 km from Boudhanath Stupa. Comfort of home, beautiful scenic views and Nepali hospitality all fused together to make Prakriti what it is. It not just a resort, it is an experience. For a long time I had been wanting to take a vacation that feels right to me, allowing me to build a deeper connection with people and the earth, and do so in a sustainable way that does not harm the ecology. I randomly saw a YouTube video about Prakriti and within the same month I was packing my things and flying to Nepal because I needed to see this for myself. While it was as beautiful and serene as I had hoped, the experience was beyond my expectations in some ways. No camera can capture the peaceful night as you are looking down into the valley and a mystical red moon rises from above the hills. No video can capture the beauty of the prayer flags flapping in winds. No review can fully convey the taste of food, made with care and healthy goods. I guess you have to see it yourself to believe it. The peace I felt atop this hill was incomparable. I hiked up to Dhaap Dam and down to Haibung village during day times. These were some of the most interesting (very solitary) hikes I have been on. Sometimes not a soul in sight for miles. Just you, your questions. Perfect place to have a conversation with the divine, right? This is the gift of Prakriti that I will always truly appreciate. Staying at Prakriti, it felt like being at home with family. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Prem ji and others go out of their way to ensure your comfort and ease. One of the main owners himself drove me on the atrocious path up the hills to reach the resort. On the way we found a stranded family whose car broke down. So we gave them a lift up to the resort. This is how community takes care of each other. Not seeing humans as business opportunities but as people who you care for and build meaningful relationships with. At Prakriti, they give you the whole tour and explain everything.

Our charming artistic cabins are cozy and comfortable for lazy stays, yoga, meditation, and family gathering. Our country kitchen and bakery use organic locally sourced ingredients for delicious choice of meals. A beautiful hotel with very friendly owners and staff. It is part of a very interesting community project also including design clothing production, a school, and organic farming. We had a few very good days staying in a beautiful calm area. The hike up to the mountain from 1800m to 2400m is a must-do. Food served at the restaurant is from local organic products and is just excellent.

Set upon natural settings thus offering picturesque views of the Himalayas, lush Pine Forest and Kathmandu Valley Peaceful Cottage & Café du Mont offers well appointed rooms with free WiFi access.

Featuring mountain and pine tree facing views - rooms at Peaceful Cottage are fitted with comfortable linen sheets. Attached bathrooms include hot/cold shower facilities. The staff were excellent, especially Diwana who went out of his way to help. On a clear day the view is breathtaking, I very much doubt there is better. Rooms clean, very good size, & again spectacular views. It certainly is no 5*. However you get the impression it once was. Bit of a " hotel Budapest" if you have ever seen the film. However for service, & a view that will take your breath away, it is well worth it.
