Very peaceful quiet location,when we opened the door there was a lovely fragrance and it was very clean,the room was small but comfortable for two people but not for tall or big persons,the location is good as the shops are 5 minutes drive and Clacton-on-Sea is about 10 minutes,meet the lovely host Julie and her three lovely dogs, dogs are not allowed but she said if you have a small dog she may make an exception you just need to let her know first when you book.

Well located in a very quiet and peaceful area. Clean and well presented. Pleasant helpful host.

The staff were very kind and made us feel welcome. The room was comfortable and clean, as well as quiet. The location is peaceful and the food was lovely.

The cottage was delightful, it was spotlessly clean and had all required facilities. It was in a quiet and picturesque area of Mersea island and was very peaceful.

I loved everything about this apartment. Convenient location for the bus/train shop and the city centre. Quiet and peaceful place, the best apartment I've stayed in so far. Will definitely come back to this place again 🙂👍

Very cosy place to stay very peaceful out the way yet very convenient being only 20min from stanstead airport or 45 mins from london. So quiet in the evening with the bbq seeing the deer wander through the field. All the little bits left in the kitchen for us on arrival too was a really nice touch. Lovely homemade bread and delicious fresh eggs.

House was very unusual, clean and well equipped with plenty of extra equipment if needed and big enough for all 5 of us and visiting family. Lovely peaceful location in countryside.

Our favourite thing about our stay here was little Betty the goat! The location of the lodges is lovely, set in the middle of the countryside with only a short walk to the water. It’s so peaceful and quiet with lots of wildlife around! The lodge it’s self is very spacious with everything you could need. It was absolutely spotlessly clean! The owners were very helpful and lovely. We can’t wait to return!!
