The hotel is amazing with breathtaking views. The staff was very friendly. We love the jacuzzi, sauna, and to take a plunge in the little lake. Our staying at Glacier Lagoon Hotel was just lovely!

One of the best stay we had in Iceland! Recommended to anyone who want to capture northern lights without any disruption!

Offering a restaurant, the property also has a shared lounge, as well as a sauna and a hot tub.... We had a perfect stay at this hotel. The outdoor heated pool was a highlight, offering a relaxing experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making our visit truly enjoyable. The breakfast was perfect, with wide variety of food. We highly recommend this hotel.

Located in Iðunnarstaðir, 27 miles from Thingvellir National Park, Basalt Hotel provides accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. It was an oasis. The evening meal was delicious and hot tub a bonus. Staff were friendly, informative and incredibly helpful. Thank You.

Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodations 3.1 mi from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. One of my favorite hotels in all five trips I've done to Iceland. The staff are helpful and friendly and the place is very warm and cozy. The view of the lake from the room is perfect for viewing the northern lights right from your bed!!! The breakfast and dinner are excellent.
