Always greeted with a smile and helpful. Enjoyed the rooms and very clean. Loved the old colonial style of the building. Shuttle service was amazing as well. I had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The location was very central and walking distance to the main hospital.

It certainly met our requirements. The Staff were very professional and accommodating and were able to offer expert advice, which we certainly appreciated!

Located at the base of its namesake Mount Vaea, this family-run hotel is 3117 feet from Apia's town center. Vaea Hotel owners Lupe and Dean were gracious, friendly and informative hosts. They went above being hosts, they made you feel like part of their family rather than just a guest! Always smiling and happy. Breakfast was always fresh and great tasting! Farm fresh eggs done different ways, pancakes, toast, coconut jam, peanut butter, jams, marmalade, a fresh variety of fruit and alot of other good food, some being baked goodies such as coconut filled buns, so yummy! The Samoan coffee was an added bonus of tasting great. In the morning, the setting was peaceful and relaxing with the many flowers, plants and bushes with the birds singing. Dean and his son Shane made very good margaritas, a definate must try! A clean hotel with a lovely family owning and running it.
