The staff was really friendly and helpful, the communication with the hotel was superb. The room was reasonably clean. The hotel is located close both to the city center and the trains station with cheap parking availible there. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. Would definetly recommend.

Lovely and peaceful stay right in the city centre of Celje, when I was there on friday, it was not crowded at all, awesome location that is really close to the old town and location was not so noisy as I was expecting

The accommodation is a 5 minute walk from the train station, a 2 minute walk from the museum and a 20 minute walk (uphill) to the castle. The staff were very friendly and helpful. While no one was there when we arrived, they emailed us an access code. It was my wife's birthday and they put a small bottle of champagne and a note in our room - a nice touch. We were also allowed to leave our luggage at the Vila Monet after checking out, so we could pick it up hours later on the way to the train station. Breakfast was more plentiful than expected, with eggs cooked to order, croissants, different types of bread, cold cuts, cheese, jam, fruit, cereals and an espresso machine with various options. At the end of breakfast we were allowed to take a cup of coffee outside on the terrace to read. The room was spacious and spotless. It had air conditioning (very useful at 29 degrees outside), a very cozy, large double bed, a TV (irrelevant for us), and a desk and sofa. The bathroom with shower, toilet and two sinks was standard. Overall, we had the impression that everything was very well thought out and efficiently organized.

This is a nice hotel, with great pool facilities, very nice staff and great breakfast. This is why I'm giving it a 9. However, the 3 star rooms are a bit dated and not that comfortable - for 200 euros, they are really not good value. Taking into account the free swimming after the check out (whole day) and the exceptionally nice staff, though, we had a wonderful stay. I would stay in the 4 star rooms next time, though.
