Comfortable and clean rooms, simple design, good air conditioning and WiFi, has all the amenities you need. The common areas are very nicely designed, cosy and very clean. Both pools are clean and warm with plenty of space. The restaurant offers delicious Brazilian cuisine with some Italian fusion, the cocktails are delectable - it’s a must visit when in Salvador. Breakfast buffet is great - both variety and taste. It is also very special to stay at a property with such rich history - there is memorabilia all around the hotel. The staff - 100 out of 10, very friendly and helpful employees. I had a late night flight and had to stay at the hotel all day after my checkout, I was very well taken care of and truly felt welcome. Also definitely recommend the massage, great value and very thorough.

Best money spent here! “Funny” restaurant on the beach and “I am orro” in the town are excellent food options. Very safe. Enjoy the beach!!

They went above and beyond to assist with airport transfers and organizing day trips around Trancoso. The owner is also incredibly welcoming and makes sure you feel right at home. The breakfast is amazing, and the afternoon tea is such a nice touch. The bedroom was clean, comfortable, and cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The gardens are beautiful, and the swimming pool is a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. I can’t recommend Le Refuge Pousada enough! It’s a hidden gem in Trancoso, and I’ll definitely be back.
