Packed lunches are available on request. the location. the room was very plain and simple, absolutely charming, with a wonderful Terrasse with views of the sea. the food was great, breakfast, full English, with everything you could possibly want, snack at lunchtime excellent and dinner was always cooked to perfection, whatever we ate. finally, the staff, with no exception were all so pleasant and efficient, and charming. and special thanks to the lady who cleaned the room, every day she replenished our supplies of tea and coffee. we didn’t even have to ask!!! she is a treasure.

The Mason Arms is located on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, just a 10-minute walk from Branscombe Beach. Dating back to the 14th-century, this property offers an award-winning restaurant, locally brewed ales and free parking. Our 10/10 stay at this place started the night we arrived. After a somewhat harrowing drive in the dark/rain/fog down a tiny road we were exhausted. The lovely man (Dan who it turns out was just filling in but did a bang up job) at the check in just took us straight to our (out of this world) room and said "Check in in the morning, no problem" and handed us a pot of cream (... this is for your coffee/tea). The room itself was huge and gorgeous with a full sitting room area, mini kitchen and a giant king sized bed that was so comfortable I would still be there if I could. The bathroom had a great shower and a giant bath tub. We stumbled across to the pub and (although it was past kitchen closing) the chef made us a lovely salmon dinner. Things just got better from there - gorgeous full breakfasts, lovely dinners, kind and caring staff EVERYWHERE. The town is tiny but stunning with plenty of interesting historical buildings and great hikes both around the area and over to the next town (charmingly called Beer). Thank you to Dan, Sophie, Connor and Hannah for making our stay so incredibly special.

Overlooking Weymouth Bay, No. 98 Boutique Hotel is a newly refurbished Grade II listed Georgian townhouse with free WiFi access. All rooms include a TV as well as an ensuite shower room, complimentary toiletries, a hair dryer and complimentary tea and coffee/refreshment tray. All rooms have crisp white bed linen and fluffy white towels and have been refurbished in blue and green accents which beautifully reflect the seascape directly beyond our front door. Other facilities offered at the property include a shared lounge and luggage storage. From the property Nothe Fort is a 9-minute journey on foot and Weymouth Sealife Park is 1.2 miles away. Portland Bill Lighthouse is a 24-minute journey by car. The train station is a two minute walk. This is our guests' favourite part of Weymouth, according to independent reviews. Beautifully styled, super clean, great breakfast options, and delightful hosts (Suzanne and Derek). Perfect location with inexpensive parking very close by. Would highly recommend all round. Situated just 15 minutes’ walk from the centre of historic Dorchester, the family-run Bay Tree House offers free Wi-Fi and free onsite parking, the award-winning property also boasts a restaurant and coffee shop, which is just 10 minutes’ walk away. The host Gary is very nice and helpful.

Situated in the peaceful village of West Knighton, New Inn – Dorchester is a former 16th-century coaching inn. It blends original features with modern attributes, such as free WiFi and free on-site parking. Great hotel. We have stayed here five-six times now before travelling to and from Jersey. I would thoroughly recommend The New Inn, great food, friendly staff and a good nights sleep.

A 1-minute walk from Weymouth Esplanade, Cunard Guest House provides well-appointed en suite rooms with breakfast, free parking and Wi-Fi. This Dorset B&B is just a 5-minute walk from Weymouth Train Station. The hospitality was top notch. So friendly and accommodating to our wishes. The accomodation was perfectly clean. The location was very convenient with both free parking and all the city highlights within easy reach.

Nestled in the quiet village of West Lulworth, Limestone Hotel is a stylish country house with free parking, a restaurant, and easy access to both Dorset countryside and the Jurassic coastline. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lulworth Cove is half a mile from the property. The location, the view, the size of the hotel. The dinner and breakfast were both very good.

The Swanage Haven Boutique Guest House is in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just 1 mile from the centre of the seaside town of Swanage. The exclusively adult-only Victorian town house is just 20 minutes’ walk from the Swanage Steam Railway. The room and en suite were excellent, good choice of teas and coffee in the room. The breakfast choice was great, the best we have had in any Guest House. Swanage Haven Boutique Hotel is a place that we will certainly return to.
