The hotel is not in the Schloss (castle) but next to it. The buildings are very pleasant, a lof of details, for instance the design the green areas and the sculptures, seem very thoughtful. Everything is super clean and supertidy. It also felt spacious, you did not feel that they wanted to make use of every square inch for instant profit. The breakfasts, both the variety and the quality were superb. The nearby restaurant that opens in the afternoon is really local and authentic, most guest were local Bavarian people from the area, the beer and the food were delicious and not something "touristic". The hotel was not separated by walls from the small village and you can sense that this part of the countryside is supersafe. What we enjoyed the most was the pond. Actually, it is a small swimming pool in the lawn field next to the hotel but made as if it were a natural hole in the nature. The water was clean and lukewarm; a pleasure in the hot summer. there was there a resting deck with armchairs next to it but the place was never crowded, the people were quiet and kind to have a little small talk while enjoying the look of the robot lawnmower passing by.
