Madame was lovely. Scrambled eggs from the chickens on the farm was lovely, each morning. Very rustic apartment, but charming. Gardens are beautiful and Lilly the dog was great, as we took our little pup Peanut with us. We loved the location but for some people, the area doesn't have much. There were no local shops etc. We drive, so there was no problem. We absolutely loved our stay there and will return again. The hotel was spotlessly clean and every room looked like it had been recently refurbished and was immaculately maintained; door locks, windows, bathroom equipment, entrance door, breakfast room equipment, all was like new and worked perfectly. The owners/managers (?) could not have been more helpful, friendly or accommodating, I was allowed to park my motorcycle at the rear of the property during my stay.
This former post house is now an elegant hotel in the heart of Bagnoles de l'Orne historical district, facing the Ferté-macé Forest. Hôtel Normandie offers a garden and a terrace.

A delightful small hotel which felt very personable. The decor of the bar and restaurant is really welcoming and well appointed. The restaurant in house is very popular. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were wonderfully attentive and absolutely lovely!
