The breakfast was delicious and a great amount of food. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room as thoughtfully decorated. The table had our names written in chalk and welcome packets. Before we arrived to check in (very late as our plane landed in Schiphol at 21:00, we had let Linda know our estimated time of arrival at 22-23:00) She kindly accommodated and greeted us at the door and gave us a tour of our room and how to use the amenities, such as opening the windows or where extra toilet paper was stored. While my husband worked in town, I was able to visit the national park and go on a beautiful nature walk. We enjoyed the complimentary ice cream downtown during a beautiful hot spring day Linda and her family were a delight! We hope to stay again!

Carpe Diem was the perfect “home away from home” for our group of four. It was definitely a place where we could come back to each night and relax and refresh. Clean, inviting, pleasant, cozy, and so much natural light on both the east and west side. Also ideally located for visits with our extended family in the area. We loved it there, and miss it already. ❤️

    Very quiet area.

    Very quiet area. We were there during Christmas holidays so it was dark and cold, but also very quiet and beautiful farmland Visited nearby Delden which was pretty, and some of the local castles were decorated for Christmas which was absolutely worth a visit if you like history - was like being in a Christmas movie.
