I was greeted by a very friendly non-English-speaking woman who offered me a kettle and some water from the water cooler in reception. I arrived at about 7am from after 4 nights on the train from Moscow and was allowed to check straight into my room for which I was very grateful. Everyone I met here was friendly (all staff – I wonder whether I was the only guest). The post office, a branch of Subway and pizza restaurant also practically on the doorstep and it’s easy walking distance to Lenin Street and several of the squares. With it's gracefully decorated corridors which surely have seen better days...my room wasn't quite so appealing...”

“Excellent location, close to city centre and attractions. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. Marianna and Bogdan very helpful. They even let us check out late and called a taxi for us to the train station. Marianna recommended a tour to lake Baikal which we loved. We felt home.
