Luckily, the owner quickly called a nearby restaurant to come and drove us there (since there is no transportation in the middle of the mountain). They even help us planned our trip for the next day. “The resort is not posh, but the room was large and clean. Since there's nothing much to do at night, the resort provided free rental of DVDs, which you can play in the comfort of your room. There's even a DVD player with sound stereo! The resort is all the way up the mountain, and though it's a distance from the main attractions (green green grasslands & swiss garden), there's a 7-eleven and a few good food places just a short walk away! The resort also provides free shuttle service to and fro these attractions, though you would need to inform them at least 20mins in advance. The open-concept toilet was pretty interesting, and we managed to catch the sunset through the windows. Overall, a very pleasant experience!”

“the location was great for going to Green Green Grassland, as it is just next door. it also includes a really good breakfast the next morning with pretty amazing views of sunsets. the staff were nice in all their advice on how to enjoy our stay at Cingjing with advice on estimated cabfares etc. The rooms are huge for a 2 person stay (unfortunately i didn't take any photos cos i was exhausted from my flight in and getting there). The owner of the place was also helpful in linking us up to a local tour that brought us to see the stars and sunrise on Hehuan Mountain - that is an experience I truly recommend!”
