This is an absolutely fabulous hotel to stay in, set in an enchanting castle, with a very romantic location on the banks of the rivers Danube and Inn, beautiful rooms, great ambience, but, most importantly of all, the most wonderful staff who treat you as if you are one of their family. As soon as you push open the big wooden door into SchloB Ort you walk into a beautiful oasis of calm, with the wonderful smell of lemongrass and a welcome so friendly that you immediately know you have made an excellent choice for a relaxing weekend. I was met by the adorable Severin, who attentively looked after me for my entire stay with charm and humour and made my stay an absolute delight. He also gave me the most brilliant Sports Leg Massage which made me feel like a new person. I then met the wonderful Alexandra, the hotel owner who was so lovely, friendly and welcoming that you feel you have made a new friend for life. It is very rare to feel so at home and to be treated with such genuine affection in a place that you are staying and I hope that I get to stay again in this very special hotel sometime soon. The decor in the hotel is beautiful, relaxing and very homely. The sheepskins and rugs provided enable you to sit out on the spectacular terrace in all weathers and I thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing breakfast, with lots of choice of delicious fresh food, in the rain. I also had a wonderful evening drinking Prosecco on the terrace at night looking at the wonderful views across the river. The hotel has a well stocked honesty bar which ensures that you can enjoy the view with great German beer or excellent wine. A free welcome glass of Prosecco was a lovely touch. My Junior Suite with River View was huge with beautiful decor, a separate living room and a lovely bathroom. The view from my window was spectacular and the large bed extremely comfortable. I had the most wonderfully relaxing weekend stay here. If you are coming to Passau you must stay here, it is fantastic.

The hotel owners are really welcoming, everything is perfect. They went above and beyond with the customer service! Breakfast was really good. Can't complain about anything.

Absolutly top! We have travelled the world, but this experience is créme de la créme! Perfect cozy design room, very friendly, supportive and pleasant owner. Breakfest in the cellar just amazing experience...recommend, recommend, recommend...not more needs to be said.

Excellent, owner run boutique hotel in Westerland. Exceptional care is put on customer satisfaction by the owner. She is clearly passionate about hospitality and this hotel in particular. Newly renovated, very tasteful. The rooms are very large and have all that one needs. The breakfast deserves as special mention: it is surprising, lots of little tasty pleasantries. On top there is a buffet and one can order eggs etc. One of the best breakfasts we had. Certainly a recommendation. We will book the Hotel Atlantic again for sure.

We checked in for a night when travelling from Slovenia toward Munich airport and what a find! Clean, spacious, quiet, so well organised. The breakfast was incredible, do it yourself pancakes, eggs our way, beautiful bread basket, all fabulous and fresh. We had a quick sauna in our room too which was awesome. When we are back / we will plan some alpine adventures in this area to stay here again - it was the best - just too short for us!

The staff and the food , both exceptional

Amazing breakfast selection with changing options every day and variety of local products, cozy sauna and great place for yoga. Rooms were clean and comfortable, exceptionally caring and friendly personnel

Spacious, modern, comfortable and extremely well-equipped room, including coffee and tea maker, both a shower and a bathtub, a patio, a fridge, free food items etc.; very nicely varied breakfast options. Quiet and relaxing. Friendly hosts. Mauth is very close to the national park.

The castle itself, we loved exploring!

With love and style renovated and modernized building from the middle ages. Great breakfast, sweeit garden, quite and good sleep.
