The location and ambience of the lodge is perfect for a weekend getaway. The views are unparalleled and surreal. The lodge staff welcomed us with warmth, friendliness and hospitality. They are professional and we'll informed (and connected) with the local attractions. With their support we were able to attend shows and explore the surroundings. The lodge facilitates excursions such as the traditional light show, renting of scooters, massages, arranging transport and more. The surrounding areas are accessible by scooter and the driving conditions here are safe enough. The lodge is air-conditioned and mostly free of mosquitoes.

The location is purely magical - right next to the river with stunning surroundings. We took a bike trip along the river and the views were out of this world. The staff went above and beyond to support us during the stay - so friendly and helpful. They organised countless unforgettable trips for us. The food was also outstanding. I cannot recommend this place enough: it is a little corner of paradise.

The main attractions of Lanshan Wangyue Hotel are the outstanding location in a village not too far from the town of Yangshuo, but with a feeling of old rural China and magnificent unobstructed view of the karst peaks in all directions; and the friendly service by the owners, Mark Ma, Li Wu and Siwei, and their hard-working and helpful staff. Additionally, the rooms are commodious and offer full views-- distant mountains from the front, the village and close mountains on the back side. The beds are new and great for sleeping, plus the rooms have good insulation and are very quiet. The proprietors find out what the guests wish to do, and custom arrange and lead excursions into the surrounding countryside. In an area that has lots of tourists (almost all domestic Chinese), they can take guests on bike trips or hikes to places that no one else visits. Ask them to take you on the half hour climb up to the old Qing Dynasty bandits lair in a cave high above the surrounding countryside, or to one of the ancient villages in the area. So much to see and do in the area, with some of the finest scenery in China.

The only hotel nearby has cute ponies. The service at this hotel is excellent—the staff are kind, professional, and always ready to help. It truly feels like a home away from home, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room was spotless, neat, and comfortable, with everything I needed. Housekeeping was consistent and thorough every day. I slept well and felt very relaxed during my stay. The location is also great—close to everything, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and attractions—great value for the quality.

They arranged all tours for us. We didn't have to do much and pricing was good! All tours and transfers were organized by the hotel at very reasonable prices. The restaurant also offers good meal options

Excellent location and extremely helpful staff from making attractions reservations to calling for drivers. Beautiful sunrise and scenery from the balcony and right outside the front door. Walking distance to the pier, West St, the main walking street for tourists with multiple restaurants, shops and bars. We also liked that most staff spoke some English. Onsite restaurant is good too.

We had the double room with balcony and the view was just insane, not to mention the swimming pool. We initially planned to stay two nights but ended up staying 4 nights. Staff was really friendly. They gave us a good ebike for a small fee which was really convenient. Banana pancakes was 10/10.
