We really enjoyed our stay at Tierra Magica B&B. The room was especially lovely with the owner's artwork and very comfortable. It was an easy walk to shops in Escazu and the garden and breakfast area were welcoming. This may become one of our go-to hotels to stay at when we're in the San Jose area.
