What a treat to exchange staying in your typical and somewhat boring hotel room for the adventure to sleep on a ship! Further, it felt like having a little adventure with friends: from receiving detailed instructions on how to get there, being greeted by our wonderful hostess Sabine and her gentle Great Dane, getting a personal tour of the ship, having all our special needs met (charging and securely parking our E-bikes, extra blankets, etc), to finally leaving after enjoying a lovely family-style breakfast. While many nights staying in hotel rooms fade away - this fun night on the ship will stay in our memory.
