This is a lovely hotel in a great location near the old town and the cathedral. We had a lovely room with a balcony. Everything was very clean, and the breakfast had lots of options. Would highly recommend.

Luis at reception was super friendly- the hotel is perfect for pilgrims/ close to everything but still far enough away to offer quiet. 6-8 minute pleasant walk to cathedral and go the other way and you are a 6-8 walk from bud and train terminals

Jose and Manuel are wonderful and very accommodating. They helped us have a great time and celebrate our father’s birthday in the most amazing way! I would 100% return any time! Hotel Alda San Carlos is located 300 metres from the historic centre of Santiago de Compostela, 7 minutes’ walk from Obradoiro Square and the cathedral, and close to the train station in the main... The hotel is within a 5-min-walking distance from the train and bus stations and within 5-10-min walking distance from Praza Galiza and the old town, with amenities such as bars, restaurants, and stores nearby. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff is really friendly. We left something behind, and the staff arranged for that to be shipped to our location. Would definitely stay again on our next visit to Santiago.

Matatagpuan sa gitna ng Santiago de Compostela, ang hotel na ito ay makikita sa isang makasaysayang gusali sa sikat na Plaza de Galicia, isang UNESCO heritage site. This was my first time in Santiago de Compostela, and it won't be the last! This hotel is in a great location and the staff is amazing. We were able to pretty much walk everywhere. Clean. Staff were helpful.
