This is fabulous place, with a superb management, able to control many important details. It has the charm of a 19th century palace and it is modernised in a discreet, clever way. The sockets that keep being powered when you remove the room key are marked in colour and everything explained. The windows are old but the frame and glass so that they keep the noise out. Our room was really spacious with old furniture and a very comfortable and large brass bed. The ceiling was painted with 19th century pompeian drawings. The view on Piazza della Repubblica was great. The Christmas decorations were discreet but effective. The personnlel was professional and polite and dressed in nice uniforms. We felt welcome and taken care of. We will certainly go back.

Cosy clean room at a beautiful location. Staff was very friendly. We checked out in the morning and left our luggages at the reception till late night, very secure and excellent service.

The staff are very pleasant and welcoming! From the moment 1-2 days we check-in. Though it’s an old heritage building, the room very well renovated, very modern, clean and beautiful! We love it! Look just exactly like the photos. And although it’s just right next to the road, we had a very good sleep as not much cars drive pass in the middle of the night. Ok, maybe there is..? But we can’t hear as the windows are very sound proof (Given I’m a very light sleeper). TV is big and smart TV too! We also love that it’s the centre of Duomo! And it’s so convenient! All walkable distance and so near to the Cathedral. We can even go back to our room to use the toilet anytime! Haha. We also asked the staff to help us book/arrange a taxi on our check-out day as we had difficulties getting one from Florence train station during the day of check-in due to stormy weather. Appreciate this! Thank you.

These were modern and spacious accommodation, kept sparkling clean and well supplied and with daily room cleaning, one minute walk from the Duomo and very quiet. The room temperature may be controlled individually by new aircon units in the room (we were there in winter and needed heat). Outside the room is a living room with a kitchenette. A washing machine is available in the general area. For the history buff, Mozart lived in the building. If all that isn’t enough, Alessandro is not less than a perfect host - enthusiastic, out to be helpful and passionate about Italy (ask him). He was, for us, immediately a trusted friend in an unfamiliar city.
