It was great to have the hostel staff welcome you at the blue gate to lead you to the hostel upon arrival to avoid lost in the way. Breakfast was nice. Location also near to blue gate. The hostel can also help you to arrange for the city walking tour guide. The walking tour guide is good, he will bring you to the local shop ( rug, textile, cosmetic) no pressure to buy, but if you do buy just know the shop actually charge way overprice.

Our room was super comfortable and quiet. Mohamed was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the old Medina. He gave us restaurant recommendations and directions to anywhere we’d need to go. Breakfast was very good and this Riad is very hospitable. 10/10 recommend and will stay again in the future.

From the first encounter with Otman, we had very nice interactions with him and his crew. Every day he asked where and when we would like to have breakfast, but he was also in for a nice chat about our day. The property is quite small, and with hosts like Otman and his staff there was a general feeling of hospitality, confidence and warmth. The property itself is a beautiful place (many guests take a photoshoot inside before they leave). In addition, the Riad is very close to the Blue Gate and easy to find due to the signs, even at night. The facilities are as expected, and very good. The room is cleaned every day, with clean towels. The rooms have windows to the internal courtyard and together with the airco in the room it is easy to keep the air fresh. The common spaces consists of nice corners with sofas and tables, and a beautiful roof terrace with a view over the whole medina. We did not do any activities organized by the Riad due to a lack of time, but the next time - indeed, we would go here again - we will surely book the cooking class, which does not only consists of cooking, but also getting the products from the market around the corner!

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The riad is beautiful. The breakfast was huge and their mint tea was so good. The location was about 10 minutes from the blue gate.
