Loved this place! We rolled into Grünerløkka with suitcases, left feeling like locals with a favorite coffee spot and tram stop. The apartment is bright, newly renovated, and surprisingly roomy—three comfy bedrooms where even the snorer in our group slept like a baby. Kitchen passed the scrambled-eggs-and-espresso test, living room perfect for evening chat-and-snacks. Check-in was smoother than Norwegian butter; instructions were crystal clear. Wi‑Fi handled our photo dumps and streaming without a hiccup. Having a washer was clutch after a rainy-day wander. The street is calm at night but steps from great cafés, parks, and bakeries. Would 100% book again—Oslo, we’ll be back!

We stayed for 2 nights at Anker Hotel. perfect location to access all the major attractions around the city. Bus stop is just at the foot step of the hotel and takes you directly to the city centre. The hotel is clean and okay considering the price. Staff were extreamly pleasent and friendly. The response is pretty quick and will take care to arrage for our needs. Room was decent enough but lacks interphone which makes it a little difficult to walk down until reception to make a request. Regarding the food, breakfast is part of the reservation which I consider the best and on par with expensive hotels. There were wide variety of dishes served hot and fresh. Overall, it was an excellent stay at Anker hotel and would recommend it for anyone who look for an affordable yet comfortable hotel.

Scandic Vulkan is located right by the Akerselva River and the popular Oslo Food Hall, 5 minutes’ walk from the trendy Grünerløkka district.

A nice hotel, reachable by a bus from the main station Oslo S, less than 10 min walking to the tram, next to Mathallen food court and a nice park with waterfalls. Very reach breakfast. Polite staff, good cleanliness (not the perfect), toiletries, an ironboard and iron in the room, comfy bead with remote controller for adjusting height (I didn't test it too much).
