The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It was convenient to adjust the temperature of the room, the blankets were warm -- I've never slept better in my life. Our room was right next to the lobby but it was completely quiet all night. There was the option to make coffee in the room, but we enjoyed the brewed coffee available in the lobby (and ice water). The front desk staff was very kind and knowledgeable, and they stored our bags all day while we traveled around the city. The hotel is walking distance from many excellent restaurant options, and the streets were bustling with Hasidic families, so it felt very safe.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Hotel 1080, especially thanks to the service, professionalism, and kindness shown to us by the manager Ruhul; Mr. Ruhul makes guests feel comfortable and special. Thank you very much, Mr. Ruhul, for being so kind, respectful, and professional. I also want to highlight the kindness and professionalism of the housekeeping supervisor, Ms. Cynthia; when the air conditioning in our room broke down, she acted very quickly and ensured my family and I were comfortable until the technician fixed the issue. Thank you very much, Mr. Ruhul and Ms. Cynthia, for everything you did for me and my family.

We spent 6 nights at Hotel Scherman and it was one of the best hotels I had in NYC. The room (suite with two bathrooms) was spacious and cozy, the view from the balcony fantastic (you can even see some of the billboards near Time Square). The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and most of all I was positively surprised by the breakfast (which was included in our booking). Honestly, the best US continental breakfast I have seen so far.
