We spent 6 nights at Hotel Scherman and it was one of the best hotels I had in NYC. The room (suite with two bathrooms) was spacious and cozy, the view from the balcony fantastic (you can even see some of the billboards near Time Square). The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and most of all I was positively surprised by the breakfast (which was included in our booking). Honestly, the best US continental breakfast I have seen so far.

Located on New York City's East Side, this hotel is just 5 minutes' walk from St. Patrick's Cathedral. It offers an on-site restaurant and a 24-hour fitness centre.
