Down to Earth Retreat is such a peaceful bush setting. The host is ever so helpful, bringing over the BBQ for us to use and showing us the perfect spot to admire the sunset.

The room had recently been refurbished to a high standard. The bed was super comfy and everything required for an overnight stay was provided. Sam on reception was very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

The house was more spacious than anticpated, with 2 bedrooms, living room, and a kitchen. The room is clean and comfy and the kitchen was very nice. We cooked some simple breakfast and late night meals. The house provides birdfeed and you can just pour some outside the patio and birds will fly over and have breadkfast with you. It's a short 5min drive to Metung city or 15min drive to Lake Entrance. Susanne was very helpful via messages and provide detailed instruction for checking-in.

Very clean and well maintained house. Beautiful out looking and lovely interior decorations. Plus they provide BBQ grill！ Kangaroos are in the garden early in the morning, very lovely. Birds come for their breakfast and not afraid of human. Koala trails are not far if you are driving. And such a wonderful place!
