The hotel is in the center of everything and is easily accessible by subway’s line 1 and 2 so you can literally go everywhere. The interior of the hotel was great and staff were very hospitable and helpful. The GM of the hotel was very kind and even sent my husband’s postcard to Germany free-of-charge. Our room was upgraded too! I didn’t want to get out of the room because the room was super grand. In a nutshell, this hotel is superb and the staff went out of their way to make our stay in Nanjing as nice as possible. Good value for money as well. This is the place to stay in Nanjing!

Hotel is new, clean, rooms are ergonomically well designed. Bed was very comfortable. Location is excellent, right is the middle of a beautiful park with lots of things to do for grown ups and kids.

Everything. The hotel is close to the Xuanwu Lake and in walking distance to the Xuanwu Gate. It’s easy to get in and out traffic wise but feel quieter than the Xinjiekou area. The hotel is newer than most peer group such as Westin and Hilton. The staff is very friendly and better quality than its peer group as well. The cleaning staff especially go out of their way to help. Their Chinese restaurant Jiangnan Zao is delicious. We stayed in three hotels (Westin, Hilton Riverside) in Nanjing on a recent trip and Shangrila is by far the best.

This hotel was absolutely perfect in every way. Extremely quiet and only a two minute walk to either terminal. The sheets and the bed very comfortable and the room is beautiful.

Located between the Confucius Temple area and Xinjiekou commercial district, Holiday Inn Nanjing features a gym, a swimming pool and rooms with internet access.

The location is superb, just a very short and easy walk away from most of the main sights in Nanjing. The staff are the most helpful hotel staff I've ever dealt with and the service has been the best I've ever received in any hotel I've stayed in to date. To name just one example, when I told the receptionists I needed a knife to cut some fruit, they literally delivered one to my door by sending someone to my room.

Since opened in 1983, East meets West at the majestic Jinling Hotel in the heart of Nanjing’s Xinjie Kou Square, an upscale setting only 656 feet away from Xinjiekou Subway Station (Line 1&2).

The room was spacious and clean. The staff were excellent! We arrived around dinner time and the place was packed. However, we were attended to quickly and managed to get to our room within 20min. The staff were really professional and they immediately knew where to get my luggage which were sent over earlier. A pity I did not managed to get the names of the staff who were serving me. They even got me a great driver who got me to the airport on time.
