We stayed from Nov 13-19 2024.
Hotel is located between 2 subway stations - Fuzimiao/ Confucius Temple on Line 3 about 250-300 m away from hotel & Sanshanjie on Line 1 about 400 m. Both lines connect to Nanjing Railway Station & South Railway Stations. If u walk from subway just watch out for EV motorbikes, crowd and uneven pavement.
Hotel is located behind a shopping mall. U either go round the mall or cut through the Sony store. Not very prominent if walk on ground level.
Hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is quite good with wide spread although fruit juice is not fresh juice. Staff is hospitable and speaks English. There is a bilingual book on Nanjing food and attractions in the room. Vanity top in bathroom is adequate. The room has a weighing scale too 😁😁
Swimming pool is about 25 metres. The changing room is a bit rundown.
Hotel is located near some attractions - Fuzimiao, Laodongmen, Grand Baoen Temple. Take Line 1 directly to Xingjiekou.
Located in Nanjing and within 7.5 miles of Confucius Temple, Jumeirah Nanjing features a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property.

Nanjing is historically important due to its strategic location on the Yangtze River. The Nanjing City Wall is very impressive. The Nanjing Massacre Memorial is sobering, and it's even more so because few Japanese children learned about this brutal chapter in their WWII history and most of their adults are still in denial of this human tragedy. We can easily spend a month here and barely see a half of it.
It would be a real shame to visit Nanjing without some awareness of its importance in Chinese history. That would be like visiting Vienna and not know about its opera house, the Danube, and...

Rich history and culture. Food was amazing.
Rich history and culture. Food was amazing. There is so much to do and see in Nanjing, I only got to see a small part of it. The locals are friendly, though they generally don't speak English, so conversing and getting around can be difficult without a guide. Niushoushan was worth a visit, so too was the Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum and Confucius Temple, not to mention the night market and river cruises. Shanghai is only an hour away by bullet train which is plus, you can do day visits, though a stay over in Shanghai is probably better.

Nanjing is a city with full of vibrant and vibe for all types of people. Many interesting places for visiting. They are all well organized and maintained. Most of the places can be assessed by underground or other public transportation modes with reasonable price. I just love this city and I would come again in a very near future.

The tour of Nanjing to places of attractions were very interesting, since it was the original capital of China. Moving around was easy and affordable by taxi (Di Di application through AliPay). All payments were easily done through WeChat and AliPay. However, the internet connection was slow and frequently disrupted. This is a perennial problem for foreign mobile phone connection unless using a local data SIM card.

Nanjing always seems to me to be a real Chinese city - I love trying to explore. The metro is easy, the city is well-connected with Beijing and Shanghai. The people in my experience were very friendly and there is a lot to see, both in museums and outside. There is a real sense of history here.

The room was big and had huge windows, that opened, which provided great ventilation.
There was also a little fridge in the room and great variety of TV channels.
Best of all: metro station Line 2 is opposite the hotel. This made it very easy to get around Nanjing.
The staff helped me locate sights and what I truly appreciate is that they directed me to Jiangsu Provincial Hospital, where I received excellent treatment for 6 days as an outpatient.
Everything went really well. The staff was extraordinarily helpful (our luggage was lost and they helped us with all administrative steps for example), the breakfast varied and the location great. The rooms were quiet and very clean. I enjoyed the view on the city at night. I would stay at Central hotel again without hesitation.
The staff really tried their best to help us out. Their effort is highly appreciated, from finding a lost package sent to us, to sending something out urgently while we were away from the hotel. 10 out of 10 for staff service. It’s also one of the few hotels left in Nanjing that do not refuse foreigners.
the owner of this hotel is very nice, he speaks fluently English and he helped me when I needed to send my luggage to his hotel. he picked me up at the airport and brought me the day after. I felt like in a family. 100% recommend! thank you so much
The bed is very comfortable, the staff is polite and they will help you if you have a question they speak a little English but we use Google translate there is nice big TV and nice bathroom ,hotel is 20 minutes walking from the train station
