Dreamland Inn seems like a new and family run business, the receptionist was really kind and knew how to speak some English which is not a requirement but always super helpful. They were accommodating and even helped us pay our climbing guide when we had issues. They had a complementary breakfast for us and always offered tea or water. The Inn is tucked away in a more village part of town but it had the most perfect view of the mountains. The room we stayed in had a queen bed and a patio where we just admired the mountains and rested on after a few busy days in Guilin and a rock climbing session. We had tickets to leave late in the evening and the Inn let us rent a scooter to drive around Yangshuo where we saw Moon Hill and a rock cave. When we got back we still had time to kill so they let us hang around in the dining area for a bit. They had just adopted a kitten and so we just played with it till we had to go.

I have to start from words “I don’t have enough words” to explain how amazing was our stay in this lovely place. So, I will try. Manager and owner Kate very nice and kind person. She helped us to make reservations for many attractions. Also she always been in touch with us, provided information about interesting spots, food places, tickets etc. Big bonus - Kate can speak English very well. Kate’s mom had cooked breakfast and lunch for us and it was really amazing, I literally felt in love with simple homemade Chinese food thanks to her 😍 Location is very good. Very quiet at night. And the same time just few steps away from ferry, then a couple of minutes by boat and you are in the middle of hustle and bustle West Street. Guest house itself is very nice, reception is interesting decorated. Washing machine and free detergent are available on the roof top. Free water bottles at the reception. Rooms and bathrooms are big. We had balcony room and the river view was great. So, I definitely can recommend to book this place. You will never regret for sure. Thank you again Kate! We are such a lucky to find you and your family!

Nice clean room. Good view from the room. Quiet location. Helpful staff that speaks English. Some distances away from the town center but they provided shuttle to town for us.

The location and ambience of the lodge is perfect for a weekend getaway. The views are unparalleled and surreal. The lodge staff welcomed us with warmth, friendliness and hospitality. They are professional and we'll informed (and connected) with the local attractions. With their support we were able to attend shows and explore the surroundings. The lodge facilitates excursions such as the traditional light show, renting of scooters, massages, arranging transport and more. The surrounding areas are accessible by scooter and the driving conditions here are safe enough. The lodge is air-conditioned and mostly free of mosquitoes.

All their staff were so amazing and went out of their way to take care of my family and I. They’re super helpful and their service was absolutely top notch. I love how they have their on site restaurant and served great western and Chinese food which meant we could pretty much choose to stay in the hotel all day long if we wanted to. It made meals for kids a lot easier and stress free! The small touches pushed the experience over the top - when I brought an apple to the courtyard for breakfast they immediately asked if I wanted it peeled and cut!
