We loved Vista Mare! I like the fact that the boat ride is included and that they take dogs. Our room was very comfortable, great towels, AC and hot water too. The staff is always pleasant and cheerful. The views at night are amazing, the skyline of Boca grande is quite the sight. We stayed four days and ate all our meals there. Best pasta in Cartagena! Best breakfast too since all the options are included (avocado salmon, pancakes, burrito, traditional..). Nobody pushes Tierra Bomba but it is such a peaceful break from Cartagena and easy to get to. I highly recommend this hotel.

Really friendly staff and very accommodating when it comes to question (initially planned for a leave at 11am but were allowed to keep our suitcases in the room including the key until our departure at 1:30pm). We really like the Cristal Hamburguesa. Overall a quite placemat the end of Playa Blanca (its located in the north, the more south you go the more touristy it gets). Beautiful sunsets.

This beach club is an hour from Cartagena. Go by boat or car. If by car walk down to the beach then walk along the beach 3 KM or better take a water taxi for 15.000. I walked back and forth a few times and Mio Mio is one of the nicest hotels on the beach. 7 rooms. 2 are new and on 2nd floor w full ocean view.. All rooms have bathrooms. Conserve water. Staff is helpful and friendly but at times like most Latin American staff you need to be persistent in getting their attention. Food was good by Colombian standards (Mexicans would just laugh) and beer was cold and available. I heard at times they don't have water bc it's brought in by boat. When the sea is rough they can't get it. So use sparingly! Seriously super fast showers. Every drop is precious. Day beds are comfy. Great little vibe. They've done a lot recently to improve so ignore old reviews. I'd return!!!!
