The hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The entire hotel was super clean and the breakfast was healthy & delicious.

The accomodation is located in the middle of nature, in a quiet location from where one can undertake lovely walks through the woods. The host is very welcoming and the apartment was very clean and comfortable, with a wonderful view of the river. The breakfast was very good, more than sufficient and at a decent price. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Unlike most accommodations in Düren – where the majority lack air conditioning or even basic cooling systems and you end up literally “cooking” – this apartment offers ideal conditions year-round. The host, Mrs. Lea, is incredibly kind and welcoming, greeting us with a warm smile and making us feel like we were visiting family, not just staying in a rental. Such hospitality is rare these days! Although the apartment doesn’t have air conditioning, it truly doesn’t need it – the insulation is excellent, and the space remains naturally cool and pleasant. The bedroom is spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with an extra bed and all the essentials for a cozy stay. The kitchen is fully equipped – it has everything you could possibly need, including an oven, stove, fridge, cookware, and more. The dining area is well designed and ideal for longer stays. The bathroom also has a washing machine, which is a huge plus if you're staying for several days. Everything is clean, tidy, and functional. The location is excellent – the apartment is on the ground floor (especially convenient if you have luggage or limited mobility), and you’ll find shops, bakeries, pharmacies, and public transport just a short walk away. The city center is easily reachable by foot or bike. The apartment has a warm and homey atmosphere – it doesn’t feel like just another rental, but like a place you’d want to come back to. For anyone looking for quality, comfort, and a good vibe – this is the right choice. All recommendations for this apartment and the wonderful hosts!

I recently stayed at the über den Dächern von Vettweiß for a weekend getaway with my family, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the host were friendly and welcoming. Always kept in touch during our stay and even before the arrivals The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities such as a comfortable bed, flat-screen TV, Full fledge kitchenet, coffee machine and a mini-fridge. The bathroom was also spotless, with plenty of towels and toiletries provided. The hotel's location was also a plus, out of the city limits, peaceful and tranquil place to unwind and relax.

The hotel is centrally located in Duren and was close to everything we needed access to including the train station and the central square.
