Lovely house, comfortable bed, air conditioning, sparkling bathroom. We were welcomed by Rita, who made us comfortable. Driver Vimlesh was a great source of local knowledge - he picked us up at Nadi airport, drove us to a restaurant, and took us to the Yasawa Flyer ferry the next morning. A GREAT gateway to the Yasawa Islands.

This is a homestay without a ton of the usual interaction. The owners have a comfortable room and bath with an outside entrance. They also have a lovely little baby. I did not have a whole lot of interaction with the owners but if I had a baby I think I would also be very careful about interactions with travelers. Regardless, they were responsive to my needs. However, if you are looking for an interactive experience, you might want to look around. The bed was comfortable and the room and ensuite were quite clean. The room is toward the back of the house and pretty quiet. Having an entrance seperate from the home was quite useful. Meals were offered and were tasty. The hosts are keen to make your stay comfortable. Also if you love dogs, they have a couple that definitely love attention. The hosts are quite good about keeping the dogs in check if you don't like them. Just let the hosts know. You will have to navigate the bus system unless you are willing to pay for taxis. The bus stop is definitely walkable but a bit inconvenient. I used taxis with Michael exclusively (the hosts know him well and can help with that). Town is about 15 minutes away. Michael can help you with most questions you have about Nadi the town. I hired Michael to drive me around to places he recommended that were further afield. I really enjoyed that entire day. He chose well. If you do this, agree to the price before you leave for the day. I almost feel like I got a 2 for 1 in being able to access a knowledgeable taxi driver who was a close friend of the host.
