We were very lucky to find such an amazing location. The villa is simply fantastic. The old and authentic architecture combined with the modern design is just great. In the house, everything is designed for the comfort of the guests. Beautiful bedrooms, a huge kitchen, fully equipped with everything you need, a wonderful living room with access to the terrace, where the coffee tastes even better in the morning. If you go down a little further, you will find yourself on a terrace with a swimming pool, where it is very convenient to sunbathe on a deck chair. A courtyard with a barbecue where you can cook whatever you want. And from every terrace you can see an incredible canal, along which boats sail from time to time. Romantic, comfortable, unique. We will definitely come back here for a longer stay.

Clean and tranquil location, well placed for our cycling trip to La Rochelle, safe storage for our bikes and an excellent breakfast. There was only a takeaway pizza shop in the village for dinner (& it was a Sunday night) but we were able to eat the pizzas with a bottle of wine bought from the same shop in the delightful sheltered space outside the Venise Verte and use the provided cutlery and glasses from the little shared kitchen
