It was fantastic. Due to sudden snow fall we were trapped on the mountain with only 1 night of stay at the property. Fortunately the host is very kind and let us stay for free for another night! The host is very patient with us even though we have a language barrier and explain to us that he couldn’t let us leave due to safety issues with snow avalanche covering the road.

Charming Bed and Breakfast nestled in the alps. It is located at the edge which offered a relaxing and calm atmosphere. Many hikes for all skill levels were nearby. We had use of the kitchen and common space. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean . The other guests were friendly. As were the hosts. They also were very knowledgeable and gave good advice on where to hike and how to get around with out a car.

Experimental Chalet Val d'Isère is a luxury hotel located 5906 feet high in the heart of the old village, very close to the slopes and Espace Killy Olympic downhill ski area.

Overall, very friendly accommodating staff throughout. Attention to detail, generous and well above-norm luxury guest amenities and gestures. Great array of facilities for children - exceeds many larger luxury hotels'. Generous sized spa & pools. Very good dining options with variety of culinary styles and skills (perhaps lacking the simple casual comfort food array a bit). Unbeatable location if you want to be in the heart of the village and still be ski-in ski-out. Ski Room (set-up and service) is one of the best if not the best anywhere in the Alps.

Outstanding breakfast spread with plenty of choice for everyone’s taste - from healthy juices to fresh cut fruit and french pastries. Amazingly attentive GM Laurent, who keeps everything running smoothly to the T. And an incredible JoJo who know everyone by name and takes care of anything you might have wished for! Will def come back!!
