Adorable little house in the center of Castellane. Great for a family and right where the rafting trips leave - so super convenient. Calm and very local feel!

The host and apartment were both excellent. Good location for getting to the lavender fields near Valensole and Verdon Gorge region. It is about a 12-15 minute walk to the center of town. A large grocery store is about a 6 minute drive. The rooms are shaded which kept the apartment comfortable in the summer. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, and having 2 bathrooms was a plus. Marc was very accommodating and helpful. He provided a local map and suggested things to do. We would definitely recommend Vacances Castellane.

The host was very friendly and she allowed us to check in earlier as the room was ready and she was on site. We went to Castellane for 1 night from Nice to stargaze the perseids meteor shower and we had an incredible experience. It was also accessible to contemplate from the backyard of L'Oustaou hostel, there are deckchairs available.

I loved the place. Has a great vibe of something between hostel and a mountain refuge. Perfect for staying in group. Has a lot of space to hang out in bigger groups both inside and outside. Also super nice and helpful host and great sunset view.
