United KingdomWe loved the setting. Beautiful Wicklow hills It was lovely for walks and the pub, lol where they told us all the history of the pub and the area. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Great nights sleep. The fire was set for us to light as it was a miserable day, so we loved this.

The grounds are stunning, we enjoyed the garden with fairy doors and the playground. My dad has dementia and the bar staff took exceptional care of him. He would ask for a pint and the staff kindly followed by request to give him the non alcoholic version, they informed each other and were so kind and helpful during what could have been a stressful time for us as a family. The grounds were lovely and had a meal altogether that evening (17 people!) and it was perfect.
