An unpretentious, but well appointed , welcoming place. The hosts could not have been friendlier or more accommodating—especially with our bicycles. A cherry festival was under way. This place couldn’t have been nicer.

Fantastic property, very close to town, the design of everything is terrific. I mixed up my dates of staying there, arriving a day early, and Matteo arranged for me to stay at another exceptional property for a night before coming to La Fornace the next night. If I am in the area again I would stay here and explore Alessandria more fully. A wonderful gracious host.
