Truly beautiful and delicious meals. It is absolutely worth getting the meals included. Every meal was a different surprise each time and featured unique seasonal and local delicacies. The local sake and pine juice were great! The view was wonderful and exactly as the listing described/showed. Our window view was right up close to the turning bridge. The staff were so kind and helpful. It was a relaxing and exceptionally enjoyable stay for the traditional ryokan experience. I loved the baths for soaking. Because there are limited guests, I often had the public bath to myself and they were always clean and well stocked. It felt much more intimate to stay here. The ryokan is right in the "heart" of activities with gift shops, restaurants, and notable sites nearby. Notably, there is a quaint gift shop inside too. It is easily walkable to Amanohashidate Station. Also, this ryokan has a side entrance/area for guests to tidy up after visiting the beach. Very considerate and showcases the spirit of omotenashi.

Location is beautiful. The place is overlooking the bay. The staff is helpful and makes effort to compensate and make the customer comfortable. A special mention to the enthusiasm and dynamism of the senior citizen (must be almost 70y/o) collecting the finished trays and cleaning the tables at the breakfast cafeteria.

I’ll make it brief. I loved this place. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. It’s a Japanese style hotel which equally means clean and neat. It has a tiny Onsen-like bathroom inside with a sea view. I highly recommend this place for visitors of Amsnohashodate.

The lounge. It provides free flow of beers from 1500-1800, and of course other drinks too & light snacks. From 2100-2300, free flow of liquors get to choose, with some refreshments. The onsen is also good but have to pay ¥150 (tax) per person. I dont quite understand why they collect this ¥150 tax/pax. Staff are friendly. Nice, clean and very spacious family room.

We primarily booked there for the amazing breakfast and hot spa. One of the best breakfasts in Kansai. The afternoon and evening free refreshments was an unexpected bonus. It is a quiet location, only ten minutes drive to the town center.nice views, and beaches nearby..great place for both families and couples. We didn’t eat diner there (next time), but every single diner guest we saw looked very satisfied. Nice big room. Can’t wait to visit in summer when the outside pool is open!
